Why we do this
Sanitation on a job site isn't optional. A standard porta potty rental holds 60 to 70 gallons and sits about 92 inches tall, but it has to reach the right crew at the right time. We built Tamiami Porta Pros because construction managers in Tamiami needed a local company that knows the neighborhoods, keeps equipment clean between jobs and answers the phone. Portable toilet placement, dumpster delivery and septic work all depend on knowing the streets, the gates, the utility lines and the space constraints. That's ground-level work. We do it.
Our fleet spans ADA accessible units that meet ADA Standards section 213.2 so at least 5 percent of clustered units work for mobility devices, deluxe flushable porta potties with running water and hand soap for crews that need more than a standard unit, and restroom trailers for events and long-term builds where foot traffic runs high. We service weekly as the baseline interval under ANSI/PSAI Z4.3, the portable sanitation standard, and we pump when you call.
How we serve Tamiami
We rent to contractors, events, farms, film productions and homeowners doing renovation. A construction site might need 4 standard units plus a dumpster and temporary fencing all delivered on Monday and pulled Friday. An event restroom rental for 200 guests runs different math than a wedding where guests stay indoors. Festival restrooms in Tamiami can't fail mid-event. We stock the equipment, maintain it daily and handle the logistics so you don't have to call three companies.
Septic pumping is a second business line. Residential septic tanks typically need pumping every 3 to 5 years depending on tank size and household size, but commercial grease traps pump when fats, oils, grease and solids reach 25 percent of the liquid depth. We do both. Storage containers rent by the month for tools and materials, and temporary fencing keeps job sites secure. Handwashing stations meet the requirement in 29 CFR 1910.141(d)(2) for soap and towels, hand sanitizer alone doesn't satisfy the rule.

What we know about the work
Tamiami sits inside Miami-Dade County, and placement of equipment in the public right of way needs confirming with the city before delivery. We've handled that paperwork on hundreds of jobs. Porta potty placement is more than picking a flat spot. A standard unit is about 44 by 48 inches on the ground, but the truck that delivers it needs about 60 feet of straight clearance behind the rig to set it down.
How many porta potties you need depends on crew size and job length. OSHA 1926.51(c) says 1 toilet facility for 20 workers or fewer; 1 toilet seat and 1 urinal per 40 workers from 20 up; 1 toilet seat and 1 urinal per 50 workers at 200 or more. A dumpster rental for demolition or new construction gets quoted by volume and job duration. A restroom trailer works for anywhere from a 2-stall unit to an 8-stall for major productions.
We serve Tamiami and the neighborhoods within a few miles: Sweetwater is 3.1 miles northeast, Westchester is 4.4 miles east, Kendale Lakes is 4.6 miles south, Westwood Lakes is 4.9 miles southeast, and Coral Gables is 15.0 miles southeast. Most calls we handle are in the Tamiami zip codes, but we range into those towns too. Check our service areas or call to confirm your address.
Do you rent by the day?
Yes. Daily porta potty rental works for events, short-term construction and emergency jobs. Weekend rates run higher than weekday rates because demand spikes Friday through Sunday. Delivery and service fees apply to all short-term jobs.
Can I get a same-day rental?
Yes. Call with your location, your crew size and your job type. If you're in Tamiami or the immediate area and we have equipment on the truck route, same-day delivery happens. Emergency septic backups and festival setups get priority.
What's the difference between deluxe and standard?
Deluxe porta potties have running water, a hand pump and soap inside. Standard units have a seat and no plumbing. Deluxe costs more but works better for office workers, public events and crews that need handwashing on site. If you're unsure, ask us. We'll match the unit to your crew.
Do you service equipment on rental weekends?
No. Our team services Monday through Friday. Rentals that include Saturday or Sunday are pumped Friday. If your event runs through Monday, we pump Monday morning. Emergency calls get a callback message with phone options.
Why do septic tanks need pumping?
Solids settle and buildup inside the tank. A residential system designed right handles liquid overflow, but pumping removes the solids before they clog the drain field and cause backups. Septic tank warning signs include slow drains, wet soil near the tank and odors in the yard. Call us before it fails.
